Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Riyadh Region for a Business Unit Manager overseeing Critical Care and Surgical product lines.

The person in this role will manage the overall business unit strategy, including planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring for the assigned portfolio.

Daily responsibilities include leading and coaching the sales and marketing teams, setting targets, tracking KPIs, and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

The role involves close collaboration with key healthcare stakeholders, including hospital management, clinicians, and procurement departments, to identify opportunities, support product adoption, and build long-term relationships.

The Business Unit Manager will also coordinate with regulatory, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure compliant operations, accurate forecasting, and efficient product availability, while regularly reporting on market trends, competitive activity, and business growth.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in managing business units or product lines in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or a related field.
  • Strong skills in strategic planning, budgeting, and performance management, including setting and monitoring sales and profitability targets.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience supervising teams, providing coaching and feedback, and driving a high-performance culture.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills for working with hospital decision-makers, clinicians, and other healthcare stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of critical care and surgical environments, clinical workflows, and healthcare market dynamics in the Riyadh Region or similar markets.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret market trends, and translate insights into actionable business plans.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or a related discipline;
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the healthcare sector and adherence to ethical business practices.
  • Comfort working on-site in hospital and clinical environments, with willingness to travel within the Riyadh Region as needed.
