2. Role Overview

• We are looking for a
• Business Manager – International Logistics, Customs Clearance & Compliance, UAE
• to support SolutionMall’s product delivery, logistics coordination, customs clearance, regional distribution, and compliance-related business operations in the UAE and GCC region.
• This role is suitable for professionals with experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, import/export operations, customs clearance, GCC logistics, certification coordination, product compliance, warehouse coordination, project delivery, or cross-border trade operations.
• The role focuses on supporting products after international shipment arrival, coordinating local import and customs processes, assisting GCC regional logistics, supporting compliance and certification documentation, and helping SolutionMall improve delivery efficiency for project-based orders.
• This is not a simple administrative logistics role.
• It is a business coordination role involving logistics partners, customs brokers, freight forwarders, suppliers, customers, certification bodies, and project delivery stakeholders.
• The ideal candidate should be able to support:

Product Arrival and Import Coordination

• Support product arrival coordination in the UAE, including:
• Shipment arrival follow-up
• Port, airport, and free zone coordination
• Freight forwarder communication
• Customs broker communication
• Import document checking
• Delivery schedule coordination
• Local receiving and handover support
• Problem follow-up for delayed or abnormal shipments
• Coordinate with SolutionMall teams, suppliers, logistics partners, customs agents, and customers to ensure imported products can move through arrival, clearance, and delivery stages smoothly.

International Logistics and GCC Regional Logistics

• Support international logistics and GCC regional delivery coordination, including:
• Sea freight, air freight, and express shipment follow-up
• UAE import logistics coordination
• GCC cross-border logistics coordination
• Delivery from UAE to other GCC markets
• Warehouse, storage, and distribution coordination
• Last-mile delivery support for project orders
• Logistics cost and delivery timeline feedback
• Coordination with freight forwarders and local transport partners
• Help SolutionMall build reliable logistics workflows for project-based product delivery across the UAE and GCC region.

Customs Clearance and Documentation Support

• Support customs clearance and import/export documentation, including:
• Commercial invoices
• Packing lists
• Bills of lading or air waybills
• Certificates of origin
• HS code checking support
• Customs declaration coordination
• Import permit or approval support where applicable
• Customs duty, VAT, and clearance cost feedback
• Abnormal clearance issue follow-up
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal teams to reduce clearance risks and improve delivery predictability.

Compliance and Certification Coordination

• Support product compliance and certification-related coordination for imported products, including:
• Product certification requirements
• Local market compliance documentation
• GCC-related compliance coordination
• Technical document collection
• Test reports, certificates, and product files
• Labeling or document requirements
• Coordination with certification agencies or local consultants
• Feedback on compliance risks for specific product categories
• Help SolutionMall understand certification and compliance requirements for different product categories before and during project delivery.

Business and Project Delivery Support

• Support project delivery coordination from the logistics and compliance side.
• Collect and share feedback on:
• Delivery timelines
• Local logistics costs
• Customs clearance risks
• Common document issues
• Product category restrictions
• Certification requirements
• Warehouse and local delivery conditions
• GCC regional distribution challenges
• Help SolutionMall improve its regional delivery capability, reduce logistics risks, and support long-term cooperation with customers and partners.

Required

• 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
• International logistics
• Freight forwarding
• Import/export operations
• Customs clearance coordination
• UAE logistics operations
• GCC regional logistics
• Product arrival and delivery coordination
• Warehouse and distribution coordination
• Product compliance documentation
• Certification coordination
• Cross-border trade operations
• Project delivery or supply chain coordination
• Familiar with import/export documentation, shipment follow-up, customs clearance workflows, logistics partner coordination, and delivery problem solving.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, customers, warehouses, certification bodies, and internal teams.
• Working proficiency in English.

Preferred

• Existing logistics, customs clearance, freight forwarding, or certification resources in the UAE
• Experience with GCC regional logistics and cross-border delivery
• Experience with Jebel Ali, UAE free zones, ports, airports, or local import procedures
• Familiarity with product compliance, certification, labeling, or import approval requirements
• Experience in B2B project delivery, industrial products, commercial equipment, electrical products, medical products, IT/IoT products, or engineering equipment logistics
• Arabic communication ability is preferred
