Join a chemical raw materials sales team in Jafza, Dubai, focused on construction chemicals and related industry segments.
The role drives revenue, manages customer accounts, develops business and maintains client and supplier relationships across paints, coatings, inks, adhesives and construction chemicals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth and revenue targets in coatings and construction chemicals.
- Realize sales targets for assigned customers and pursue opportunities with customers, manufacturers and end users.
- Build relationships with clients, suppliers and industry stakeholders.
- Provide product recommendations, technical coordination on formulations and troubleshooting.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs; adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with client R&D and supply chain teams to align sales efforts with business objectives.
- Prepare forecasts, market intelligence, reports and presentations for senior management.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing and supply agreements; ensure compliance with company policies, regulations and QSHE standards.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or chemistry is mandatory.
- At least 10–12 years of sales experience in chemical raw materials, particularly paints and coatings, adhesives, CASE, construction, polymers or plastics chemicals.
- Strong knowledge of resins, solvents, additives, pigments and other raw materials used in coatings and construction chemicals.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the UAE and GCC markets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills in English.
- Ability to travel within the UAE.
- Additional plastics industry experience is preferred.
