Business Intelligence Managr

The role

Key responsibilities

• Lead BI initiatives; gather reporting requirements and translate business questions into analytical solutions.
• Develop and improve dashboards, management reports, and performance scorecards; analyze results and recommend actions.
• Define consistent business metrics, KPIs, and reporting methods; collaborate with data teams to improve data availability and reliability.
• Monitor data quality, support validation, optimize reporting workflows, and encourage self-service analytics.
• Present findings using visualizations, reports, and presentations; support forecasting, performance monitoring, and strategic planning.
• Document reporting logic, data sources, and analytical processes; identify improvements to BI tools and practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant BI, data analytics, or reporting experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is preferred.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with structured datasets and relational databases.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker; understanding of data modeling, KPI development, dashboard design, and visualization.
• Ability to interpret business metrics and provide practical recommendations; strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders; able to prioritize and work independently with distributed teams.
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality controls, and reporting automation is an advantage; certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
