Role Overview
Finstorm Placement Services is helping its client hire a commercially driven Business Head or Commercial Director in Dubai.
The role leads and grows an established automotive aftermarket business in a hands-on aftermarket and retail environment.
The position is not a conventional OEM or dealer sales role.
Key Responsibilities
- Own P&L, business strategy, budgeting, and profitability.
- Drive revenue growth across retail, B2B, distribution, e-commerce, and export.
- Expand the aftermarket business and develop new revenue streams.
- Grow spare parts, car care, batteries, lubricants, and automotive accessories categories.
- Develop relationships with workshops, garages, fleets, distributors, retailers, and trade customers.
- Strengthen supplier and principal relationships and commercial partnerships.
- Lead pricing, margins, inventory, working capital, and commercial performance.
- Establish SOPs, KPIs, and business processes.
- Build and lead a high-performing management and commercial team.
- Identify new markets, products, and business opportunities.
Ideal Candidate
- 10–15 or more years of experience in automotive aftermarket, spare parts, tyres, batteries, lubricants, car care, accessories, automotive distribution, or related businesses.
- At least 5 years in a senior P&L or business leadership position.
- Experience managing a business or division rather than only a sales function.
- Strong exposure to B2B, retail, and distribution.
- Experience with independent aftermarket companies, trading businesses, distributors, or mid-sized automotive businesses is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to grow revenue, improve margins, and manage working capital.
- Strong UAE automotive aftermarket market knowledge and customer network.
- The employer seeks a commercially hands-on and entrepreneurial leader comfortable in a fast-moving, non-corporate environment.
Workplace and Location
- The position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is on-site.
Compensation
- The salary is AED 25,000–30,000 per month plus a performance-based bonus.
- The stated salary is non-negotiable.
