Position: Business Development Manager – Events & Exhibitions
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Our client is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven professional with strong experience in business development, sales, exhibitions, sponsorships, and client relationship management within the events and exhibitions industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the events and exhibitions sector.
- Sell exhibition spaces, sponsorship packages, and related event solutions.
- Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into exhibitors, sponsors, or strategic partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, exhibitors, sponsors, and industry stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and customized proposals.
- Negotiate and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful event planning and execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within events, exhibitions, trade shows, or related sectors.
- Strong network and understanding of the Saudi events and exhibitions market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to generate leads, manage pipelines, and close sales deals.
- Arabic and English communication skills are preferred.
- Based in Riyadh or willing to work in Riyadh.
