Business Development Manager for the interior design business unit

Candidates with practical experience in construction finishing sales are preferred.

The role includes managing client relationships, preparing quotations and cost estimates, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, be able to work under pressure, and have strong knowledge of finishing materials and construction works.

Client Relationship Management

  • Identify and acquire new clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Follow projects from initial inquiry through final delivery.

Design & Estimation Support

  • Assist in preparing design proposals, samples, and presentations.
  • Conduct accurate site measurements and quantity take-offs.

Pricing & Quotations

  • Prepare competitive quotations and pricing proposals.
  • Calculate project quantities and costs accurately.

Negotiation & Deal Closure

  • Negotiate with clients on pricing, scope, and contract terms.
  • Successfully close sales opportunities and contracts.

Coordination & Supervision

  • Coordinate with the marketing team, designers, and execution contractors.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure smooth communication among stakeholders.

Core Duties

  • Prospect for new residential and commercial projects.
  • Build relationships with property owners, investors, consultants, and developers.
  • Present design and contracting services professionally.
  • Prepare and submit technical and financial proposals.
  • Develop long-term partnerships with consultants and suppliers to secure a consistent project pipeline.
  • Manage contracts and negotiate terms to achieve successful project outcomes.

Experience

  • Proven experience in sales within the contracting, construction finishing, or interior fit-out industry.

Personal Skills

  • Professional appearance and presentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Technical Knowledge

  • Good understanding of finishing materials, construction methods, and fit-out works.

Additional Requirement

  • Valid driver's license (preferred).
