Overview
Position Title: Business Development & Operations Manager – Container Solutions
Job Purpose
To lead and drive business growth while overseeing operational efficiency across container solutions, construction, and project activities.
The role is responsible for sales generation, operational strategy, project execution, and ensuring overall business performance aligns with company objectives.
Business Development & Sales
- Generate sales and drive business development initiatives.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor and track sales performance through CRM systems.
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations including production, assembly, and site execution.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency.
- Supervise operations team and ensure productivity and performance.
- Ensure smooth project execution within approved timelines and budgets.
Strategic & Financial Oversight
- Collaborate with the Managing Director on business planning and performance evaluation.
- Review and verify project budgeting and cost estimations during sales stages.
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost reduction strategies.
- Provide regular reports and presentations to management and board.
Project & Technical Management
- Ensure all projects are executed as per scope, timeline, and budget.
- Support product development and introduce new technical and commercial solutions.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve workflow and operational issues.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Develop and implement procurement policies.
- Select and manage vendors and subcontractors in coordination with Finance.
HR & Administration
- Support recruitment, training, and workforce planning.
- Ensure employee welfare and performance management.
- Enhance administrative processes and operational workflows.
Compliance & Safety
- Establish and enforce workplace safety procedures in line with local regulations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
& Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Experience in container solutions, construction, or project-based industries is preferred.
- Proven experience in business development and operations management.
