Prime Ventures General Trading LLC is seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager for its Ship Chandling Division.
The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the maritime industry across the Middle East, an existing client portfolio, and a proven track record of generating new business opportunities and achieving sales targets.
This is a highly performance-driven role offering a fixed basic salary with an attractive commission structure based strictly on revenue generation and target achievement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the company's Ship Chandling operations.
- Leverage existing industry relationships to secure immediate business opportunities.
- Identify, approach, and acquire new clients including ship owners, vessel operators, shipping companies, offshore companies, and marine service providers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within the maritime sector.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
- Coordinate with operations and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular performance reports to management.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven business development or sales experience within the Ship Chandling, Marine Supply, Shipping, or Maritime industry in the Middle East.
- Existing client base and strong industry network are mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and consistently meet sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Additional languages will be an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license preferred.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Compensation
- Fixed Basic Salary.
- Attractive Commission Structure based on sales performance and revenue generation.
- Visa and benefits as per UAE Labour Law.
- Significant earning potential for high-performing candidates.
Preferred Candidate Profile
We are looking for a highly connected sales professional who understands the maritime industry, possesses strong client relationships, and is motivated by performance-based earnings.
Candidates without relevant Ship Chandling or Marine industry experience will not be considered.
Immediate joiners will be given preference.
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
