Lead business development for expansion into energy-related structural steel projects.
The role seeks an experienced professional with structural requirements knowledge and a record of securing high-volume contracts.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and secure structural steel fabrication packages for major onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects.
- Leverage relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, and energy developers to position the company as a preferred partner.
- Lead technical and commercial prequalification submissions for ADNOC and other major regional energy authorities.
- Monitor upcoming tenders, shutdowns, and expansion projects in the regional energy sector.
Candidate requirements
- Minimum 10 years of business development experience specifically in the UAE Oil & Gas structural steel industry.
- An established database of contacts within ADNOC, EPC contractors, and global energy firms.
- Deep understanding of industry standards including ASME, API, and AWS, and energy-sector HSE/QAQC requirements.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and contractual language skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering is preferred.
