Business Development Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Generate business through cold calling, networking, referrals, email outreach, client visits, and site visits.
• Identify opportunities, upcoming projects, and leads; maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and projects.
• Meet developers, consultants, architects, designers, contractors, project managers, and facility managers.
• Build client relationships and present the company's interior fit-out and design-build services.
• Prepare presentations, proposals, quotations, and commercial offers with design, estimation, and project teams.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts, follow up through the sales cycle, and convert opportunities into projects.
• Meet sales targets and KPIs; maintain CRM records of leads, clients, opportunities, quotations, and forecasts.
• Monitor the market and competitors, attend industry events, and generate repeat business and referrals.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of business development or sales experience in interior fit-out, construction, design and build, or contracting is mandatory.
• Proven cold calling, lead generation, client acquisition, sales, and closing experience.
• Strong industry understanding, including commercial, retail, hospitality, office, and residential fit-out projects.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, networking, commercial awareness, and target achievement skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple sales opportunities; proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Existing industry relationships are desirable. A related bachelor's degree is preferred; a UAE driving license is an advantage.

Compensation and benefits

• Pay is AED 3,500–5,500 per month.
