Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Dubai with منتدى الموارد البشرية الفلسطيني.

The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new partnership opportunities with organizations, sponsors, and stakeholders that align with the forum’s mission and programs.

The role includes building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential partners, preparing tailored proposals, and negotiating mutually beneficial agreements.

The Business Development Manager will conduct market and competitor research, analyze trends in the HR and nonprofit sectors, and recommend strategies to expand the forum’s reach and revenue streams.

Additional responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams on events and initiatives, tracking performance metrics, and preparing regular reports and presentations for leadership.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, partnership management, or sales, preferably within nonprofit, association, or HR-related organizations.
  • Strong skills in relationship building, networking, and stakeholder engagement across diverse organizations and cultures.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and translate insights into actionable business development strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
  • Ability to prepare professional proposals, presentations, and reports, and to negotiate agreements with partners and sponsors.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a part-time capacity.
  • Comfortable working on-site in Dubai and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; relevant certifications in business development or sales are an advantage.
  • Familiarity with the HR sector, member-based forums, or professional associations is a plus.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to inclusive and ethical business practices.
