Finvizier is a Dubai-based management consulting firm specializing in credit rating advisory, ESG consulting, financial modeling, and capital markets strategy.
The firm supports corporates, financial institutions, and sovereign entities in improving creditworthiness, and implementing sustainability strategies.
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for originating new consulting mandates, building strategic client relationships, and expanding Finvizier’s market share across target markets (Middle East, Central Asia, and other emerging markets).
The role requires a strong understanding of rating advisory, ESG, and capital markets, combined with the ability to translate complex solutions into client value propositions.
1. Business Development & Sales
1.1.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across:
· ESG and sustainability advisory
· Credit rating and capital markets advisory
· Financial modelling and funding strategy projects
1.2.
Build and manage a pipeline of corporate, financial institution, and government clients
1.3.
Lead proposal development, pitch preparation, and commercial negotiations
1.4.
Achieve revenue targets and contribute to firm growth
2. Client Relationship Management
2.1.
Develop long-term client relationships and partnerships with senior stakeholders (CFOs, IROs, Strategy Heads, Corporate Finance and DCM teams, and ESG leaders)
2.2.
Manage and develop client accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention
3.3.
Act as a trusted partner, understanding client needs in:
· Capital raising
· Investor engagement
· Enhancement of investment profile
· ESG transformation and compliance
3.4.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure high-quality delivery
3. Market Development & Strategy
3.1.
Identify priority segments aligned with firm expertise
3.2.
Analyze market trends in financial markets, including sustainable finance, regulations, and consulting
3.3.
Support expansion into new geographies and strategic partnerships (including professional associations and initiatives).
4. Thought Leadership & Positioning
4.1.
Contribute to development of insights, presentations, and research materials
4.2.
Represent the company at conferences, professional associations, industry initiatives, and key market events
4.3.
Strengthen Finvizier’s brand as a leader in management consulting
5. Internal Collaboration
5.1.
Work closely with consulting teams (ESG, financial modelling and rating advisory)
5.2.
Translate client needs into project scopes and ensure alignment with delivery teams
5.3.
Support pricing strategy and commercial structuring
Experience
- 5+ years in:
- 3.5.
- Consulting (strategy, ESG, financial advisory), OR
- 3.6.
- Investment banking / corporate finance / credit rating agencies
- Proven track record in selling advisory services or managing client portfolios
Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of at least one of the following:
- 3.7.
- ESG / sustainability frameworks and regulations
- 3.8.
- Capital markets, debt instruments, or structured finance
- 3.9.
- Credit ratings and financial analysis
- Familiarity with GCC markets is a strong advantage
Skills
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Ability to build relationships at senior executive level
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution
- Strong communication skills in English and Russian (Arabic is a plus)
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- Professional certifications (CFA, ESG-related, FRM) are a plus
