Business Development Manager – CNC Machined Parts

Role purpose

Business development and sales

• Identify and win UAE and export customers for CNC machined components, including OEMs, equipment manufacturers, and oil and gas customers.
• Develop focused account plans for priority customers, decision-makers, and opportunities.
• Generate enquiries through customer visits, prospecting, referrals, and industry networking.
• Build relationships with procurement, engineering, production, and maintenance teams.
• Convert enquiries into trial orders, repeat orders, and longer-term supply agreements.
• Identify opportunities for welded fabrications alongside CNC machining.

Technical sales and quotations

• Understand drawings, materials, quantities, tolerances, finishes, inspection requirements, and delivery schedules.
• Work with estimation, engineering, and production teams to confirm feasibility, pricing, and lead times.
• Ensure enquiries contain sufficient technical and commercial information for accurate quotations.
• Present and follow up on quotations; negotiate within agreed pricing and margin limits.
• Coordinate technical clarifications and communicate company capabilities accurately.

Accounts and delivery coordination

• Own customer relationships from initial enquiry through delivery and repeat business.
• Hand over purchase orders, specifications, and agreed terms to internal teams.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams on customer concerns and delivery updates.
• Support Finance with payment follow-up and commercial queries.
• Gather customer feedback to improve service and identify further sales opportunities.

Planning and reporting

• Maintain accurate customer activity, enquiry, quotation, and opportunity records in the CRM or sales reporting system.
• Provide regular forecasts with realistic order values, expected close dates, and next actions.
• Monitor competitor activity, customer buying requirements, and market pricing.
• Contribute to sales budgeting and identify opportunities aligned with available manufacturing capacity.

Experience and qualifications

• B2B sales or business development experience in CNC machining, precision engineering, subcontract manufacturing, or a related sector.
• Record of winning industrial customers in the UAE.
• A relevant UAE procurement and engineering network is a strong advantage.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and discuss materials, machining processes, tolerances, and manufacturing requirements.
• Commercial understanding of quotations, pricing, gross margin, and payment terms.
• Welded fabrication sales experience is advantageous.
• Mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or related qualification preferred; relevant technical sales experience will also be considered.
• Strong English communication and negotiation skills.
• Valid UAE driving licence and willingness to travel regularly for customer visits.

Pay

• Pay is AED 13,000–15,000 per month.
