Role Description

Business Development / Key Account Manager – Retail & Hospitality Technology Solutions (POS \| ESL \| Auto-ID \| AI Retail)
role based in Dubai.
The person will manage and grow strategic customer accounts, with a focus on
Retail & Hospitality Technology Solutions
solutions, by understanding client needs and proposing tailored offerings.
Daily responsibilities include building and maintaining long-term relationships with key customers, preparing and delivering sales presentations, coordinating product demonstrations, and leading contract negotiations to achieve sales targets.
The role also involves monitoring account performance, developing account plans, collaborating closely with technical and project teams to ensure successful delivery, and resolving any issues that impact customer satisfaction.
The person will regularly analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities within existing accounts, and provide accurate forecasts and reports to management.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth for Retail & Hospitality Technology Solutions, including Point of Sale (POS) Systems, Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) solutions, Auto-ID Solutions and AI-enabled Retail solutions (computer vision, analytics, self-checkout, smart retail).
- Identify and secure opportunities with retail chains, hospitality groups, enterprise customers, system integrators, and channel partners
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline across Dubai & Northern Emirates
- Manage CRM pipeline and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
- Develop strategic account plans and grow existing customer relationships
- Conduct product demos, POCs, and customer presentations.
- Act as the primary customer contact to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention
- Understand customer pain points and propose tailored solutions
- Coordinate with pre-sales, technical, and operations teams for smooth project delivery
- Track market trends, competition, and emerging retail technologies
Experience & Skills
✔ Proven B2B sales experience in Retail Technology Solutions
✔ Strong understanding of POS ecosystem and retail workflows
✔ Ability to engage technical and business stakeholders
✔ Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
✔ Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive personality
✔ Strong commercial acumen with a solution-selling mindset

✔ Minimum 3+ years UAE experience in Retail Technology Solution.
