The Assistant Business Development Manager maintains Nextcare's current business and pursues new and existing opportunities.
The role connects the company with clients, including insurance companies, key accounts, and brokers, and works with management toward company goals.
Key responsibilities
- Develop revenue sources from new and existing businesses and create initiatives that leverage partner strengths.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and keep Salesforce updated with new and renewal opportunities.
- Advise clients on insurance programs and policies; arrange and manage Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Represent the organization in external insurance-related meetings and engage payers and other key stakeholders.
- Analyze key-account claims performance and monitor industry trends, competitors, and technical developments.
- Coordinate with insurance companies to gather competitive intelligence and secure deals.
- Support finance with fee collection and provider claims payments.
- Organize seminars and train clients and employees on insurance management.
Key requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree.
- Five or more years of relevant experience in a similar role at a TPA, insurance company, hospital, or medical center.
- Legally permitted to work in the country of operations.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office applications and general internet navigation and research.
