1. JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of this role is to enable the successful delivery of projects by serving as a key liaison between business stakeholders and project delivery teams.
The Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for eliciting, analysing and translating business needs into well-defined requirements to guide project execution and deliver measurable value.
The role contributes to informed decision-making, risk mitigation and the achievement of measurable project outcomes through structured analysis, stakeholder engagement and a deep understanding of the business processes.
2. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
· Understand the business problems, opportunities, and needs and recommend viable solutions through the elicitation, documentation, and management of requirements identified by the stakeholders
· Lead the elicitation of requirements through stakeholder engagement, interviews, workshops and document reviews
· Analyse and interpret business requirements to identify gaps, constraints, dependencies and improvement opportunities
· Document clear and comprehensive business requirements that accurately reflect stakeholder needs, support effective solution design and serve as a foundation for project implementation
· Engage with business stakeholders to understand new project scope, create scope statements and high-level scope requirements as required for the portfolio and project intake process
· Assess the impact of proposed changes on existing processes and systems.
Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery and adoption
· Investigate, evaluate and report alternative solutions to business needs and recommend the preferred solutions in compliance with the regulatory standards and organizational guidelines.
· Collaborate with solutions delivery team to validate proposed solutions meet business requirements
· Support User Acceptance Testing by validating test outcomes against requirements
· Build an extensive knowledge of business operations to analyse current work procedures and practices
· Promote and apply best practices in business analysis, contributing to the enhancement of internal methodologies, tools and templates
· Ensure all analysis and documentation meet compliance and quality standards as defined by NAS Neuron
3. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information management or a related discipline
· 3-5 years of business analysis work experience preferably in insurance or healthcare sector or project-based environments
· Strong understanding of business analysis framework and methodologies
· Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret and translate information into clear actionable insights
· Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills with the ability to manage expectations and influence outcomes
· Good understanding of UAE insurance market and regulations.
· Strong command of English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers and subject matter experts
· Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and accuracy
· Professional certification in business analysis or certification or training in project management methodologies is an added advantage
· Ability to demonstrate sufficient knowledge and experience to appropriately apply business analysis tools and techniques to enable project success.
· Experience in tools such as JIRA and Confluence is desirable
· Experience in Business Analysis techniques such as process modeling, root cause analysis, gap analysis and business case development is desirable
· Experience in agile projects is desirable
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
