Business Analyst role in Farnell's UK Distribution Centre team in Leeds.

The role delivers data, reporting, and insights to support site performance and improve quality, efficiency, productivity, and cost.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain distribution-centre dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; support data-driven decisions.
  • Report on service delivery, productivity, quality, cost, and KPIs.
  • Create tools and templates to improve reporting visibility and operational effectiveness.
  • Analyze continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
  • Communicate findings clearly, support projects and operational change, and help establish reporting and analysis best practices.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience with data, reporting, or business intelligence tools.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Clear presentation of insights to technical and non-technical audiences, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Proactive improvement mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Logistics, warehouse, supply chain, or distribution experience is beneficial but not essential.
