What you’ll do

  • Gather requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and research; analyze complex data and recommend actions.
  • Review processes, systems, and workflows; translate business needs into technical specifications, user stories, BRDs, functional specifications, and process flows.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, QA, and other teams across project delivery and system design.
  • Support test planning, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, implementation, and post-deployment support.

  • Recommend process improvements, ensure documentation complies with company standards, and monitor relevant technologies and industry trends.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five to eight years of relevant Business Analyst experience; insurance experience and knowledge are an asset.
  • Experience with functional analysis, business process review, and gathering and documenting requirements.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft products, Power BI, and other project systems.
  • Strong analysis, problem-solving, communication, relationship-building, initiative, and independent working skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and sensitive files, own deliverables, and support delivery on time, budget, and quality.

Compensation and benefits

  • Salary range is 74,800–91,400; the source does not specify a salary cadence.
  • Annual bonus target is 7.5% of base salary, with potential payout up to 200%, subject to personal and company performance.
  • The stated salary range is based on a 35-hour workweek; pay depends on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, contribution, internal equity, and location.
  • Benefits include flexible work arrangements, wellbeing supports, a share plan, savings options, and group RRSP with company matching DPSP offerings.
