- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for PSS-related initiatives.
- Define and prioritize product backlog items based on business value and technical feasibility.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for reservation system enhancements and integrations.
- Write clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Conduct backlog grooming sessions to refine and prioritize features.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure technical solutions meet functional requirements.
- Perform impact analysis for new features and system changes.
- Use basic SQL to run queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Monitor system performance and work with vendors to resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and airline operational requirements.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and coordinate defect resolution.
- Prepare product documentation, release notes, and training materials for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in airline reservation systems (PSS).
- Strong understanding of airline reservation processes, end to end booking process.
- Knowledge on airline Holidays system, loyalty platform is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with basic SQL for query execution and data analysis.
- Familiarity with API integrations, XML messaging, and system interfaces.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and manage product backlog effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Sabre, Amadeus, or similar PSS platforms.
- Exposure to cloud-based solutions and microservices architecture
