Role overview

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops and interviews to document business requirements and translate them into AI specifications for data inputs and model outputs.
• Work with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to assess use-case feasibility and strategic alignment.
• Define model validation, bias detection, and performance benchmarking strategies for accuracy and fairness.
• Create training materials and user manuals explaining AI confidence scores, outputs, and limitations.
• Identify banking workflow opportunities for AI automation and predictive analytics.
• Communicate requirements between business units and IT and maintain project traceability.
• Present and explain technical decisions and advocate for AI solutions with stakeholders.
• Monitor model behavior for ethical issues or performance drift.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computing, Engineering, Commerce, or Business Administration.
• At least 5 years of professional business analysis experience.
• Experience supporting AI/ML project lifecycles, requirements documentation, and UAT.
• Financial-services regulatory compliance and data-governance experience.
• Ability to convert vague business needs into technical metrics and AI performance benchmarks.
• Experience with model validation and detecting anomalies or bias in AI behavior.
• Expertise in audit trails, versioning, and decision-logic documentation for AI models.
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations, ethical AI, and internal governance frameworks.
• Ability to analyze workflows for AI automation opportunities.
• Strong stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.

• Ability to explain opaque AI concepts to non-technical users and build trust is desired.
