Role purpose

Analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate operational needs into system and process improvements.

Support data-driven decisions by analyzing real estate performance and identifying efficiency, automation, and optimization opportunities.

Act as a liaison between business units and IT to align digital solutions with operational needs and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and document requirements from Property Management, Facility Management, and Finance teams; analyze workflows and map current and future processes.
  • Develop functional specifications and business requirement documents, ensuring alignment between business needs and system capabilities.
  • Analyze leasing performance, including occupancy, rental trends, and revenue; identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop management dashboards and reports; support forecasting and performance tracking.
  • Optimize property management system and ERP workflows, identify automation and integration opportunities, and collaborate with IT on improvements.
  • Monitor implemented solutions and recommend refinements; act as the liaison between business units and IT.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and prepare process maps, use cases, and user stories.
  • Support system implementations, upgrades, digital initiatives, user acceptance testing, training, adoption, and post-implementation review.
  • Contribute to change management initiatives.

Skills and tools

  • Business analysis, requirements gathering, data analysis and reporting, process mapping, and workflow optimization.
  • Knowledge of property management systems such as Yardi, MRI, or Odoo; understanding of ERP, CRM, and system integrations.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel, BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, ERP/PMS systems, and process mapping tools.
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder engagement, attention to detail, documentation, project coordination, and time management.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or a similar field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or process improvement roles.
  • Real estate, property management, or ERP experience is preferred.
  • Digital transformation or system implementation experience is an advantage.

Certifications and languages

  • Preferred certifications include CBAP, ECBA, PMI-PBA, or a data analytics or Business Intelligence certification.
  • Fluent English is required; Arabic is a plus.
