Mechanical engineering role supporting building-project execution and supervision.
Responsibilities
- Review drawings and specifications for HVAC, water supply, plumbing/sewage, and fire protection systems.
- Supervise site execution for compliance with approved drawings, quality and safety requirements, and the Saudi Building Code.
- Prepare and review shop drawings and material and equipment submittals; coordinate with other disciplines to resolve conflicts.
- Conduct quantity take-offs, monitor procurement and progress, oversee contractors, and prepare technical reports.
- Review payment applications for mechanical works and oversee inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Review as-built drawings and operation and maintenance manuals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience executing and supervising mechanical works for building projects.
- Ability to read technical drawings and proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit MEP experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and relevant international standards, including examples such as ASHRAE and NFPA.
- Coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills; proficiency in technical English.
- Valid professional registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is required.
