Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic **Budgeting & Planning Manager** to join our Doha office.
This role is responsible for leading the budgeting process, financial planning activities, and performance monitoring to support effective decision-making and long-term business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting and long-term financial planning processes
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic and operational planning
- Monitor budget performance and conduct detailed variance analysis
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data
- Coordinate with departments to ensure alignment with financial targets and forecasts
- Prepare periodic financial reports, dashboards, and KPI analysis
- Support scenario planning and business forecasting initiatives
- Identify risks and opportunities to improve financial performance
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial planning data
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Professional certification (CFA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
- Minimum of 6–8 years of experience in budgeting, FP&A, or financial planning roles
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems (ERP, BI tools preferred)
- Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
