Job Purpose

The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the brand strategy, marketing initiatives, and customer engagement programs for a leading automotive brand in the GCC market.

The role will drive brand awareness, market penetration, customer acquisition, and overall brand growth while ensuring alignment with manufacturer standards and regional business objectives.

The successful candidate will have proven experience managing automotive brands, preferably Chinese automotive brands, within the Middle East region and a strong understanding of consumer behavior, digital marketing, dealership marketing, and automotive retail operations.

Brand Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies aligned with business objectives and guidelines.
  • Drive market positioning and differentiation within the highly competitive automotive sector.
  • Identify growth opportunities and implement initiatives to increase brand awareness, market share, and customer engagement.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine brand strategies.

Marketing & Communications

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, traditional media, events, and dealership channels.
  • Ensure consistency of brand identity, messaging, and customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Manage product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to localize and implement regional campaigns.

Digital Marketing & Customer Acquisition

  • Lead digital marketing strategies including paid media, SEO, SEM, social media, influencer marketing, and lead-generation campaigns.
  • Optimize customer acquisition costs and maximize return on marketing investments.
  • Monitor website performance, online lead conversion, and digital customer journeys.

Product & Market Planning

  • Collaborate with sales teams to support vehicle launches and sales objectives.
  • Analyze market demand, customer preferences, and competitor offerings.
  • Provide recommendations on product positioning and pricing strategies.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage annual marketing budgets.
  • Ensure effective allocation of resources and measurable ROI.
  • Track campaign performance and prepare management reports.

Agency & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with advertising agencies, media partners, event organizers, and external vendors.
  • Work closely with sales, aftersales, CRM, digital, and dealer network teams.
  • Liaise with OEM representatives regarding brand standards and approvals.

Performance & Reporting

  • Establish KPIs for brand performance.
  • Analyze campaign effectiveness and customer engagement metrics.
  • Present regular reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • MBA or Marketing specialization preferred.
  • Professional certifications in Digital Marketing are advantageous.

Essential

  • 7–12 years of Marketing and Brand management experience.
  • Minimum 3–5 years in Automotive Brand Management.
  • Experience managing vehicle launches and OEM-driven marketing programs.
  • Strong understanding of automotive retail operations.

Preferred

  • Experience with Chinese automotive brands.
  • GCC / Middle East automotive experience.
  • Experience working with dealerships and distributor networks.
  • Experience managing premium or fast-growing automotive brands.
