About the Role

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• **Sales Strategy & Execution:**
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales goals and revenue targets (e.g., monthly, quarterly, and annual).
• Analyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and client consultation to final sale and after-sales follow-up.
• **Team Leadership & Management:**
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales staff (Sales Associates, Senior Associates) to consistently exceed individual and team targets.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs for sales personnel.
• Ensure the team maintains a high standard of product knowledge, especially regarding materials, diamonds/gemstones, craftsmanship, and brand history.
• **Client Relationship Management (CRM):**
• Foster and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with VIP and high-net-worth clients.
• Handle high-value transactions and resolve complex customer issues to ensure maximum client satisfaction.
• Develop strategies for client retention and expanding the existing client base through personalized service and outreach.
• **Inventory & Operations:**
• Collaborate with the Merchandising and Operations teams to forecast inventory needs and ensure optimal stock levels of key collections.
• Ensure all sales operations comply with company policies, security procedures, and ethical standards regarding precious materials.
• Manage and control the sales budget, including expenses for team incentives and client events.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• **Experience:** **3 to 4 years of proven sales experience in the fine or luxury jewellery industry is mandatory.**
• **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• **Skills:**
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills to interpret sales performance metrics.
• Proficiency in retail management software and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, etc.).
• Knowledge of gemology (GIA certification or similar is a strong asset).

• High ethical standards and integrity in handling valuable merchandise and client data.
• Must be results-oriented, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.
