Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced **Big Data Architect** to design, implement, and oversee enterprise-wide data platforms, ensuring scalability, compliance, and innovation.
This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver robust big data solutions that support growth, efficiency, and long-term competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- **Data Architecture**: Define and implement scalable big data frameworks across enterprise systems.
- **Platform Development**: Design and deploy data lakes, warehouses, and streaming platforms.
- **Data Governance**: Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security across all systems.
- **Innovation Leadership**: Drive adoption of AI-driven analytics, cloud-native solutions, and advanced data engineering practices.
- **Risk Management**: Identify data-related risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- **Collaboration**: Partner with executives, engineers, and product teams to align big data initiatives with business objectives.
- **Performance Monitoring**: Track KPIs, system performance, and data delivery metrics.
- **Team Leadership**: Mentor data engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of data engineering/architecture experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of **big data frameworks** and GCC digital environments.
- Expertise in Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and cloud-native services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Experience in multinational or regional digital transformation organizations preferred.
