Overview

Saal.ai is a UAE-headquartered Big Data and AI product company serving government, defence, energy, and regulated enterprise clients across the GCC.

We are looking for a driven, technically grounded Sales Manager to own the full sales cycle — from prospecting senior decision-makers in Abu Dhabi’s government ecosystem through to commercial closure — representing our platform portfolio including DataPrism360, DigiXT, and Saal Agent Studio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a target account pipeline across Abu Dhabi government, semi-government, energy, and regulated enterprise sectors
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles through consultative selling — needs discovery, solution mapping, proposal, negotiation, and commercial close
  • Translate complex AI and Big Data capabilities into compelling value propositions for both technical and C-suite audiences
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, product, and delivery teams to craft winning proposals and RFP/RFT responses
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasting, and opportunity tracking in CRM; represent Saal.ai at key industry forums

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
  • 5–10 years B2B solution sales with a proven record of closing complex, high-value deals
  • Minimum 5 years continuous UAE market experience; active relationships in Abu Dhabi’s government and semi-government ecosystem
  • Demonstrated experience selling technology solutions to government, semi-government, or defence entities in the GCC
  • Strong working knowledge of AI and Big Data — able to hold credible technical conversations independently
  • Consultative selling approach; able to shape client requirements, not just respond to them
  • Based in Abu Dhabi or able to relocate immediately. Fluent English; Arabic an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience selling AI, Big Data, analytics, or enterprise data platform projects in the UAE or GCC
  • Familiarity with Abu Dhabi government procurement frameworks (ADNOC, AD Ports, ADQ portfolio, health authorities)
  • Experience navigating RFP/RFT processes and consortium or teaming arrangements
  • Exposure to agentic AI, LLMs, or data intelligence platforms at a product level
  • Existing senior-level relationships within UAE federal or Abu Dhabi government bodies
  • MBA or Master’s is a plus, not a prerequisite
