Responsibilities
- Greet guests and help load and unload luggage.
- Escort guests to rooms and provide information about hotel facilities and services.
- Assist guests with special needs and requests.
- Recommend local attractions, restaurants, and services and provide directions.
- Coordinate arrivals and departures with the front desk and other staff.
- Store and retrieve guest luggage.
- Respond to guest inquiries and concerns, escalating issues to management when needed.
- Keep lobby and entrance areas clean and orderly.
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, and security measures.
Requirements and skills
- Previous experience as a Bell Boy is mandatory; the posting specifies one year of Bell Man experience required.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; strong communication and organization.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry luggage.
- Knowledge of local attractions and services; professional appearance and grooming.
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment and work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer skills for logging and tracking guest requests.
- Commitment to hospitality and a positive guest experience.
Schedule and employment
- Full-time position; flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Workplace
- In-person work location in Dubai.
Pay
- AED 1,200 per month.
