A bartender and mixologist is sought to provide elevated beverage service at an exclusive private members club.
The role combines expert beverage preparation, personalized service, and high standards of discretion and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare classic and signature cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages; recommend drinks based on members' preferences.
- Use knowledge of spirits, techniques, flavours, garnishes, and beverage trends; contribute to seasonal menus and member experiences.
- Maintain bar cleanliness, presentation, equipment readiness, and mise en place; manage stock, rotation, portion control, and wastage.
- Coordinate with Food & Beverage colleagues for dining, private functions, and Club events; recommend premium offerings and upsell responsibly.
- Follow responsible alcohol service, applicable licensing, food safety, hygiene, and Club operating standards.
Requirements and preferred qualifications
- 2–3 years of professional bartending experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of mixology, premium spirits, wines, cocktail preparation, and beverage presentation.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, creativity, attention to detail, commercial awareness, and ability to stay composed during busy service.
- Professional presentation, discretion, and passion for beverage craftsmanship.
- Bartending or mixology certification, or a relevant Food & Beverage qualification, is preferred.
- Experience in private members clubs, premium cocktail bars, fine dining, or luxury hospitality is preferred.
