The role combines beverage expertise, guest service, bar upkeep, and attention to detail.
Bartender duties
- Prepare drinks and stay aware of trends, local offerings, and changing guest needs.
- Take ownership of guest service beyond the bar and act as a host of the space.
- Keep the bar looking and functioning flawlessly; build relationships across the hotel and in the community.
- Handle money and guest information carefully and maintain drink quality.
- Follow company policies, protect company assets, maintain confidentiality, and perform other reasonable duties as needed.
Preferred qualifications and physical demands
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- At least one year of related work experience is preferred; no supervisory experience or license/certification is specified.
- The role involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and handling items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
