About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Barista with strong expertise in preparing high-quality coffee and non-coffee beverages. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, consistency, and customer experience in a café setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee beverages (espresso-based drinks, manual brewing if applicable)
- Prepare non-coffee beverages such as teas, iced drinks, and specialized café drinks
- Ensure correct coffee extraction, milk texturing, and beverage presentation
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and speed of service
- Set up and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and bar equipment
- Follow hygiene, food safety, and quality standards at all times
- Engage with customers and provide recommendations when needed
- Support training of café crew on basic beverage preparation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Barista in a café or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, espresso extraction, milk steaming, and beverage ratios
- Experience with both coffee and non-coffee menu items
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Currently in Qatar with transferable visa and a valid Food Handling Certificate
