About This Role
Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.
Job Purpose: We are seeking an enthusiastic and service-oriented Barista to join our luxury hotel team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, guest experience, and delivering exceptional service in an elegant hospitality environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and specialty beverages to the highest standards.
- Deliver warm, personalized, and professional service to all guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and workstations.
- Handle cash, POS systems, and inventory monitoring.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on beverages, blends, and brewing methods.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Previous experience as a Barista in a luxury hotel, café, or high-end restaurant.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and espresso machines.
- Friendly personality with excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for hospitality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible schedules.
- Barista certification or specialty coffee training is an advantage.
