Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused, and energetic Barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items while providing excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate should maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure a positive experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and responding to inquiries professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment.
- Refill stock of coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies as needed.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are followed at all times.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, including cash handling and inventory checks.
- Promote menu items and recommend products to customers.
- Report equipment issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso machines is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Basic cash handling and POS system knowledge.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
