Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Bakery & Pastry Chef role based in Dubai.
The Bakery & Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing and presenting a wide variety of baked goods, pastries, and desserts.
Daily tasks include measuring and combining ingredients, monitoring food inventory, following recipes to deliver consistent quality, and ensuring proper food safety standards.
Collaboration with the kitchen team and experimentation with new recipes are integral to this role, ensuring innovative and fresh items for our menu.
The role requires adherence to deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of presentation and flavor.
Qualifications
- Strong baking and pastry-making expertise, with a solid understanding of techniques, recipes, and ingredients
- Experience in new business opening and development is a must.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure adherence to schedules and maintain high-quality output
- Creative mindset for developing new pastries and desserts that align with customer preferences
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene best practices
- Experience in menu development and inventory management
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience as a Bakery & Pastry Chef or in a similar role is highly preferred
- Formal culinary training or a degree in Culinary Arts or Pastry Arts is a plus
