Job Purpose
The Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and company procedures, ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brakes, tires, and inspections.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty parts and systems in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and vehicle performance.
- Ensure all work orders and repair details are accurately documented.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors to explain technical findings and recommended repairs.
- Participate in technical training and stay updated on new vehicle technologies.
- Comply with company policies, quality standards, and workshop procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician (cars, buses, or trucks).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Technical diploma or certification in Automotive Technology or a related field.
- Willingness to work in a workshop environment and flexible shifts.
