Audit Manager position in auditing and professional services, described as located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The role calls for 10+ years of solid auditing experience, preferably from a Big 4 or Big 10 firm, with audit engagement and team leadership expertise.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple audit engagements from planning through completion; develop strategies, plans, and timelines aligned with professional standards.
- Review financial statements, audit working papers, and reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Identify financial and operational risks and recommend corrective actions; review internal controls and identify improvements.
- Manage, mentor, and develop audit team members; coordinate with clients and key stakeholders throughout audits.
- Ensure audits meet agreed timelines and quality standards; provide guidance on complex accounting and auditing matters.
- Monitor compliance with IFRS, ISA, and local Saudi regulations.
- Prepare and present findings and recommendations to senior management; maintain professional stakeholder relationships.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional auditing experience; previous experience with a Big 4 or Big 10 firm is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Proven experience managing audit teams and multiple engagements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant audit software.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
- CPA, ACCA, SOCPA, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
Compensation
- Total package: SAR 10,000–12,000 per month.
