Education and experience

• Four-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or a related major.
• No work experience is required.

Purchasing and inventory

• Assist with purchasing food, beverages, and controllable items; place orders according to business needs.
• Support budgeted food and controllable costs and maintain inventory controls, stock rotation, and use-up practices.
• Coordinate deliveries and inspect goods and invoices against shipment quantities, quality, weights, and purchase specifications.
• Maintain storeroom sanitation, safety, and asset security.

Accounting and administration

• Prepare timely reports and complete administrative work such as menu costing and general office duties.
• Use computer programs for food and beverage costs, invoice posting, item updates, and cost records.
• Complete period-end inventory and maintain accurate invoices, controllable logs, beverage records, and bookkeeping.
• Monitor applicable taxes, document profit and loss information, meet reporting deadlines, and support financial resource controls.

Communication and standards

• Communicate delivery timing, price, and product availability issues with vendors, kitchen staff, and relevant leaders.
• Analyze information, resolve problems, provide timely updates, and participate in pertinent meetings.
• Apply job-relevant accounting knowledge, standards, policies, and procedures.
