Site Merchandiser role in Amazon's apparel business, based in Bangalore according to the description.
Plans and executes e-commerce site and email merchandising strategies.
Merchandising and content
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive, high-quality product information and set customer expectations.
- Write and schedule content for emails, home pages, category pages, and other pages across the site.
- Analyze traffic and other web metrics and report performance to management.
Projects and collaboration
- Propose, plan, and execute new features, stores, and products with minimal oversight.
- Partner with business, technical, and global category teams to achieve project goals.
- Coordinate feature launches and site improvements with project managers, developers, marketing, designers, and editors.
Basic qualification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Technical and work skills
- Technical requirements include HTML, XML, and Excel, as well as the ability to learn in-house tools quickly.
- Requires strong English writing and speaking, attention to detail, organization across multiple projects, and deadline prioritization.
- Interest in online merchandising and some related experience are described as desirable.
Preferred qualification
- Experience analyzing campaign performance metrics and key performance indicators is preferred.
