Supports investment counsellors in constructing customized strategies and managing portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and charitable foundations.
Provides long-term support for implementing strategies and regularly managing and monitoring client portfolios.
Portfolio and client work
- Support counsellors in managing portfolios and developing strategies, models, proposals, and action plans for current and prospective clients.
- Implement plans and manage portfolios toward performance goals; monitor and rebalance them under investment policy statements and risk policies.
- Maintain client profiles and relationship-development next steps; help prepare annual reviews and prospective-client meetings.
- Participate in analyst presentations, review risk reports, and recommend solutions to portfolio issues.
Must-have qualifications
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter designation.
- Undergraduate degree; business, finance, or economics is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel.
Nice-to-have qualifications
- Graduate degree, preferably in business or finance.
- Financial planner diploma granted by the Institute of Financial Planning.
Job skills
- Client counseling, critical thinking, decision-making, and interpersonal relationship management.
- Investment consulting, investment management, investment banking, and private banking.
Compensation
- The stated pay range is $67,000 to $110,000; compensation may include discretionary variable payments and performance bonuses.
Work schedule
- The stated work week is 37.5 hours.
