The role supports customized investment strategy implementation and regular portfolio management and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Support investment counsellors in managing client portfolios.
- Help develop investment strategies, models, proposals, and action plans for existing and prospective clients.
- Implement action plans and manage portfolios against performance goals.
- Monitor and rebalance portfolios according to investment policy statements and risk-management strategies.
- Maintain client profiles and relationship-development next steps.
- Assist with client and annual-review meetings; participate in analyst presentations.
- Review risk-management reports and recommend solutions to portfolio issues.
Requirements
- CFA charter designation is required.
- Undergraduate degree is required; business, finance, or economics is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, is required.
- Graduate degree in business or finance is a nice-to-have.
- Financial planner diploma from the Institute of Financial Planning is a nice-to-have.
