Role Overview
The role supports Asset Servicing within a multidisciplinary Transaction Services team.
The work covers cash operations, asset servicing, trade operations, and derivatives in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires collaboration, technology adoption, and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Process assigned transactions and events within deadlines and escalate issues appropriately.
- Resolve stock and cash reconciliation breaks and manage client and stakeholder queries.
- Apply operational controls, disclose issues promptly, and minimize transaction lifecycle risks.
- Collaborate with operational teams, Portfolio Implementers, Dealers, and external parties.
- Support process improvements that reduce time, cost, risk, and service issues.
- Complete assigned projects and ad hoc tasks within agreed timelines.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Previous experience with Aladdin, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to plan workload, prioritize changing tasks, meet deadlines, and escalate complex issues.
- Commitment to developing knowledge across the Transaction Services lifecycle.
- The role holder should mentor junior analysts and ensure identified issues are disclosed promptly.
Helpful Experience
- Working knowledge of derivatives, including collateral management, is helpful.
- Trade operations experience across asset classes is helpful.
- Cash operations experience, particularly payments, is helpful.
- Knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards and corporate action processing is helpful.
- Knowledge of operational risks across the transaction and asset lifecycle is helpful.
