Required qualifications and experience

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of relevant Electrical and Power Plant Maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience with UPS, DC systems, generators, LV panels, rectifiers, ATS, and battery systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills in critical power infrastructure.
• Experience maintaining electrical systems preventively and correctively.
• Knowledge of technical documentation, CAD single-line diagrams, and as-built drawings.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency maintenance needs.
• Strong coordination, communication, and team leadership skills.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in telecom exchanges, data centers, or critical infrastructure facilities is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and maintenance practices is preferred.
• Willingness to work 24/7 shifts and extend working hours when required is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on UPS, DC plants, generators, LV panels, fire systems, batteries, and power distribution systems.
• Conduct annual DC plant and UPS battery load tests.
• Troubleshoot faults in UPS, rectifiers, PLCs, diesel generators, ATS, firefighting systems, and electrical systems.
• Respond to emergencies and system failures to restore operations within required timelines.
• Inspect Power and E&M facilities for potential single points of failure.
• Analyze failures and incident reports and recommend reliability improvements.
• Maintain technical documents, reports, electrical calculations, databases, node layouts, as-built drawings, CAD SLDs, and power connectivity records.
• Create, manage, and close maintenance work orders.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities; guide and train the operations team.
• Coordinate emergency maintenance with vendors and contractors and meet supervisor timelines.

Compensation

• Monthly salary: AED 7,500.
