Lead the security agenda for Emirates Telecommunications Group Company PJSC, protecting digital assets and organizational resilience.
The role focuses on DevSecOps, application security, and domain security.
Strategy and governance
- Define and maintain security strategies aligned with corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Develop governance frameworks for CI/CD pipelines, application development, and domain management.
- Set measurable KPIs, monitor progress, and adjust strategy as needed.
- Provide technical and managerial guidance to team members on complex assessments and escalations.
Security delivery and compliance
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and secure development lifecycle practices across application teams.
- Manage application-security work, including secure coding standards, threat modeling, and penetration testing.
- Lead domain-security assessments and ensure compliance with internal and governmental regulations.
- Validate assessment reports and provide clear remediation recommendations.
- Convert internal, external, and regulatory security standards into practical controls.
- Optimize security-tool licensing, resource utilization, and project timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Eight years of information-security experience focused on application and network security.
- Leadership experience managing security teams and strategic initiatives.
- Expertise in DevSecOps, CI/CD security, secure development lifecycle, application security, assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
- Knowledge of DNS, TLS/SSL, certificate management, and current security trends and threats.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills.
