Associate/Assistant Professor - Physiotherapy

Position

Qualifications and experience

• Hold a PhD or equivalent terminal degree in Physiotherapy.
• Demonstrate excellence in university-level teaching and a strong record of research achievements and publications.
• Have at least three years of post-PhD teaching experience at reputable universities.

Teaching and student support

• Teach assigned courses in conformity with approved course content, format, and descriptions; educate students as appropriate to the department.
• Develop assessment rubrics, provide formative feedback, and support honest academic conduct and fair evaluation.
• Prepare syllabi, teaching aids, and materials for laboratory, practical, and clinical sessions; deliver lectures and practical instruction.
• Update course content; administer, grade, and post tests and examinations; prepare and upload examination questions.
• Maintain office hours, advise students, coordinate learning activities, and plan curriculum development.
• Plan laboratory equipment maintenance and procurement; schedule and evaluate student assignments and research activities; invigilate examinations.
• Instruct and evaluate students in professional training programs and plan and conduct experiential training.
• Carry out clinical-site responsibilities primarily on campus and at other sites when required by the College's mission.

Research and service

• Participate in academic and scholarly research and contribute publications in recognized journals, books, or citations of the professor's work.
• Participate in college and university committees, faculty development, and continuing education programs.
• Serve the community through short courses, workshops, and seminars, and establish cooperation with industry and other institutions.
