Sales, reservations, and guest support
- Resolve guest calls, requests, and problems by contacting appropriate departments or individuals.
- Upsell and determine guest complimentary rewards or gifts for patronage.
- Promote brand awareness and process Marriott Rewards point redemption requests.
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations by phone, fax, or mail.
- Enter Marriott Rewards information when taking guest reservations.
- Answer, record, and process guest calls, questions, requests, and concerns.
- Perform Sales & Marketing office work such as filing, emailing, typing, and faxing.
Team and service standards
- Assist management in training and motivating employees and act as a role model.
- Monitor performance for adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
- Follow company policies, maintain a clean professional appearance and confidentiality, and protect company assets.
- Communicate professionally, prepare and review written documents accurately, and build positive working relationships.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
- At least 2 years of related work experience preferred.
- No supervisory experience required; no license or certification specified.
