Support hotel sales, reservations, guest communications, employee development, and service quality.
Use sales techniques, including upselling, to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
Sales and Reservations
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
- Enter loyalty program information into the appropriate software during guest reservations.
- Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points.
- Use upselling and other sales techniques to maximize revenue.
Guest Service
- Answer, record, and process guest calls, requests, questions, and concerns.
- Coordinate with Sales, Data Administration, Accounting, and other departments to resolve guest issues.
- Determine and provide complimentary gifts or benefits for guest patronage.
- Promote brand awareness internally and externally.
Team and Office Support
- Assist management with training and motivating employees and serve as a role model.
- Monitor the performance of others for adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Perform filing, email, typing, faxing, copying, and other general office duties.
- Follow company policies, protect confidential information and company assets, and maintain service standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least two years of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience or license or certification is required.
Physical Requirements
Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
