UAEU invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor.
The position is in educational technology/AI in education, educational leadership, curriculum and instruction, or a closely related field.
Teaching, research, and service
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses and advise students.
- Supervise and mentor students.
- Establish and sustain a productive research agenda and pursue internal and/or external research funding.
- Publish in high-quality, Scopus-indexed, peer-reviewed journals, preferably in Q1 and Q2 journals.
- Contribute to curriculum and program development and participate in departmental, college, and university service.
Minimum qualifications
- An earned doctorate in one of the identified disciplines or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in English.
- A strong record of research and publications in high-quality peer-reviewed journals.
- Expertise in at least one identified area.
Preferred qualifications
- Proficiency in Arabic is an asset.
- Knowledge and understanding of Emirati culture and the UAE educational context are highly desirable.
