Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes and standards.
• Prepare and portion ingredients before service.
• Assemble pizzas accurately and efficiently.
• Operate pizza ovens and monitor cooking times under the supervision of the Pizza Chef.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Help minimize food waste and maintain cost control standards.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a pizza restaurant, bakery, or kitchen environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of pizza preparation and cooking techniques.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift kitchen supplies when required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Food handling or food safety certification.
• Experience with wood-fired, gas, or electric pizza ovens.
• Knowledge of dough fermentation and pizza-making techniques.

• Ability to commute/relocate:
• Al-Ayn: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
