Commi Chef - Pizza

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes and standards.
• Assist in cooking and baking pizzas using ovens and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure food preparation areas are clean and sanitized at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors about shortages.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Support senior chefs with kitchen prep and service during busy hours.
• Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation.
• Store ingredients properly and minimize food wastage.
• Assist in receiving and checking kitchen supplies and deliveries.

Requirements

• Previous experience in pizza preparation or as a Commis Chef is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Culinary certification or kitchen training is an advantage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary diploma/certificate preferred but not mandatory.

• Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per hour
• Ability to commute/relocate:
• Al-Ayn: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
